Günter “Baby” Sommer’s and Raymond MacDonald’s performances are characterized as charismatic, energetic, freewheeling, joyous, wondrous and spontaneous music-making that can electrify a room with subtle textures, fiery passion and glorious rhythms. They have toured and performed to critical acclaim at festivals and jazz clubs in Portugal, Germany, UK and Italy. Günter “Baby” Sommer is regarded as one of the founding fathers of German free improvisation and has been at the forefront of the international jazz scene for over 50 years.
