CoBIC Scientific Opening Symposium

The three partners of the Cooperative Brain Imaging Center (CoBIC)—Goethe University, the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics, and the Ernst Strüngmann Institute of the Max Planck Society—invite to the CoBIC Scientific Opening Symposium on 20–21 April 2026.

The symposium opens with a high-profile scientific program featuring internationally renowned researchers at the Casino Festsaal on Campus Westend. This is followed by a diverse program at CoBIC itself, offering insights into the center’s exceptional research infrastructure.

The event marks the official inauguration of the research center while highlighting the diversity of scientific questions addressed at CoBIC.
