Max Planck Day 2018
The nationwide Max Planck Day 2018 on 14 September in 32 cities in Germany offers all visitors the opportunity to experience research at Max Planck live - and not least to discuss all these questions with the people behind this research. It is aimed at all people interested in science and anyone else who is curious: #wonachsuchstdu (“what are you looking for?”) invites you to ask your own questions about the research topics of the Max Planck Society!
“Wissensdurst”: A bar night at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics
Short and entertaining lectures by our international scientists, cool drinks and a relaxed atmosphere promise exciting insights into the field of aesthetic research, beyond the lecture hall or laboratory.
Do we have free will in matters of taste? Why do we hate certain music passionately? Who reads erotic novels - and why? What happens in our brain when we look at art?
True to the motto of the nationwide Max Planck Day #wonachsuchstdu, guests of the bar night can not only quench their "thirst for knowledge" based on current research questions from our institute, but also have the opportunity to ask questions themselves.
Friday, September 14, 2018 / 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
ArtLab Foyer at Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics, Grüneburgweg 14
Free entry. Registration is not required.
If you have any questions, please contact our PR by e-mail or phone +49 69 211 8300 479-650.
We look forward to all those thirsting for knowledge!
