Shivers down the spine in poetry and music
The wise reader reads the book of genius not with his heart, not so much with his brain, but with his spine.
— Vladimir Nabokov
In this study, we compare the physiological and neural correlates of music- and poetry-induced chills/goosebumps. The goosebumps episodes will be identified using a mini-camera (goosecam). Individuals who are aware of experiencing goosebumps in response to music and poetry are invited to participate in our study.
