Call for Applications: INHABIT 2022
For a scientific research institute dealing with questions of aesthetics, the presence of art and the inspiration and challenge of artistic practice are of particular importance. The interaction between these different perspectives creates a productive space for artists and scientists to collaborate in.
For this reason, the INHABIT Artist-in-Residence Program invites artists from various disciplines to develop a new work in a scientific context at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics or to deepen an existing project.
As of now, interested artists are invited to submit their applications for INHABIT 2022. Two residency periods are announced, each for a duration of four months:
INHABIT #7: April - July 2022
INHABIT #8: September - December 2022
The deadline for applications is August 29, 2021, 23:59 (CET). The jury decision will follow in November 2021.
