Workshop, "Aesthetics," led by Prof. Alex Wragge-Morley and Prof. Cécile Bishop

Prof. Alex Wragge-Morley (NYU) and Prof. Cécile Bishop (NYU) will be visiting Histories of Music, Mind, and Body on January 10-14. As part of their stay, they will lead a workshop on the history and theory of aesthetics. Prof. Wragge-Morley will discuss “Aesthetic Experience and the Empirical Sciences in Britain, 1650-1720” and Prof. Bishop will present on “Forms of Blackness: Race and the Aesthetic in the French-Speaking World.”
