Welcome Zoë Bolz!

Zoë is studying psychology at the Goethe University Frankfurt. In her 4-weeks internship, she will help us investigating whether we can recognize the intention of a speaker merely from his/her voice. Does this work across languages such as German and Mandarin Chinese? Are musicians better in this task? Or does one have to have lived in the respective culture to understand these subtle expressions?
