International Office of the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics
The International Office (IO) aims to provide a smooth and swift transition for our new colleagues, visiting researchers, guests, and foreign students.
The IO assists with all formalities during the settling-in period. Please contact us if you have any questions.
A good start for non-Germans is the guide "Living and Working in Germany" (PDF) of the Max Planck Society, which is intended to help with getting settled and feeling at home in Germany, and with handling the daily business of living and working here.
If you are moving to Frankfurt to work at the MPI for Empirical Aesthetics and you are not a German citizen, you will need to organize a few things prior to your arrival.
