The Brain on Screen

In March, the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics and the Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum will host a joint series of films and lectures focusing on the human brain.

Four Films - Four Lectures - One Actor: The Human Brain

As part of The Brain on Screen, four lectures will be held at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics on Tuesdays mornings and feature films will be shown at the DFF - Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum in the evenings. Scientific data is also collected during the film screenings.

The aim of the film and lecture series is to gain a better understanding of the enjoyment and processing of feature films in the human brain and to show that films are interesting objects of neuroscientific research.

Further information on the lectures and film screenings can be found here.
