Library Talks

Between the Shelves: Talking about Works, Thoughts, and Experiences Related to Aesthetics

The library is a place of aesthetic experience: a place to immerse oneself into texts and media, to wander the shelves in search of that moment of serendipity allowing for discoveries of the unexpected in a good neighbourhood of kindred books. But the library is also a place to meet in the midst of these media, informally, and to exchange ideas about things written or read, watched, thought, or heard.

In our series Library Talks, we bring together scholars, practitioners, and everyone interested in conversations around all matters of aesthetics: academic, artistic, and personal experiences and other aspects, which may not have found their way onto the shelves yet, but may well be already on their way.
