Roßmarkt, Frankfurt am Main
Frankfurt Science Festival
As one of the members of the Frankfurt Alliance, the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics (MPIEA) will have its own booth at the festival this September. Under the theme “Transformation,” all the participating research institutions will address current issues such as brain and cancer research, artificial intelligence, dealing with climate change, social conflicts, retirement provision, and learning in the future.
The MPIEA team will also be on hand to showcase examples of the Institute’s regular research methods and invite visitors to join in: From eye-tracking goggles to finger-tracking while playing a midi controller, it promises to be an exciting visit!
Rap and Flash Talk on Stage
In addition, there be a full program on a central stage, with entertaining contributions from our researchers: Nikita Kudakov (Department of Music) will give us theoretical insights into typical body movements and verbal phrases in the rap scene. He will also close the evening with a live performance as rapper “Coodiny.”
