  • Writing under the pressure of censorship: Transnational and trans-epochal circumvention strategies, stylistic and aesthetical characteristics of (self-)censorship, experimental approaches to reader response
  • Multilingual writing
  • Intertextuality, self-referentiality, cultural and contextual knowledge – and their effect on reader’s reception
  • Stereotypes in literature
  • Heinrich von Kleist, J.M.R. Lenz, Heinrich Heine, Poetry of the Fin de siècle, Dadaism, Exile literature (especially in contemporary literature)
  • Contemporary Iranian literature
