Willkommen Lena Stöckl!

"Lena holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Neurobiology at the University of Tübingen.

During her undergraduate studies, she investigated how novel sensory cues influence self-action perception and the sense of agency. In her master’s program, she has gained extensive experience in conducting electrophysiological recordings using various animal models.

Additionally, through her work as a research assistant, she developed skills in deep-learning-based pose tracking of animals and video processing.

Lena’s research interest lies in understanding how neural activity gives rise to subjective experience. Therefore, she is excited to join Lucia Melloni’s lab at the MPIEA to explore the relationship between conscious experience and memory for her master’s thesis project.
