Main Research Area
What consciousness is and how it can be embedded in a physical system has always been one of the most fascinating but challenging questions in the history of science. However, the current contrastive methods that is widely used suffers from severe problem of indeterminacy. One possible way to resolve it is to investigating consciousness in populations with restricted responsiveness, such as infants. I aim to develop a new psycho‑logical paradigm to address this problem and try to understand how does consciousness emerges during development and what the age specific markers of consciousness across development might be by using psychophysics and electrophysiology techniques including iEEG, EEG, MEG,and so on.
